I have the V & H on my 2014 Storm and they sound amazing...I worked with VABIRD to get a set of adapters to make it fit. His kit to fit a Commander exhaust worked to make the V & H fit but there were some issues with fitament. There is a member on youtube " Razorback " with a post about the custom pipe needed to make them fit. I definately suggest the " cut and weld " adapter pipe over the bended pipe as VABIRD and i discovered that the bend (because of the short length of the adapter pipe) causes the pipe to be out of round, and will have small air leaks.

It took some work to make it fit and seal, but i haven't heard a better sounding exhaust for our Storms yet?

If you are a member of the Facebook group " Triumph Thunderbird 1600 / 1700 Owners " i posted a video of a drive by after i installed them. They turned out really well, the phone quality audio didnt do it justice...

Nice bike! I'm reading through the comments; I'm assuming you're referring to this video

He mentions that you need a 45 degree adapter elbow. Isn't this what VABird sells?

I was able to post a video to Youtube...hopefully it works, Again it was shot with my phone resting on a fence post so not the best quality, but it gives an idea of the drive by exhaust sound with the V&H installed.

that does sound awesome! going back to my previous question, you mentioned that the 45 degree elbows from vabird wasn't sufficient and you recommended a cut and weld adapter pipe?

also, what kind of tune do you have on it?

Heres the link i found from Youtube ... If you get it made i would suggest getting it a little longer on the exhaust side as there is alot of room inside the V & H
